Storytime Wednesdays at 10 AM!

The Circus is Coming! All 3rd and 4th grade students are invited to a free art workshop on Thursday, May 1st from 3:30-5:00 PM. Sibley East art teacher Amanda Feterl will guide the group in circus-inspired art projects for display in the library. This event is limited to the first 24 students who sign up in the library or by calling 507-237-2280. This activity is sponsored by a grant from Traverse de Sioux Library Cooperative and Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.

Cooks of all stripes: Join us for our Cookbook Club meeting on Thursday, May 15th! Check out a cookbook today and make a dish to share at our potluck meeting.

Abby and Ty are waiting to meet kids for after-school reading fun! They are Tail-Waggin’ Tutors, therapy dogs who love to hear stories from kids! Meet them this Thursday at 3:30 PM in the library.

Look ahead to summer gardens with the Friends of the Library Learn. Grow. Eat Fresh! series. All gardening events are free and open to the public. Supplies will be provided, so please register at the library for these events. All Learn. Grow. Eat Fresh! programs take place on Mondays at 6:30 PM at the Gaylord Library. Classes include:

April 21 – Seed Starting and Saving with Gardener Dennis VanMoorlehem

April 28 – Straw Bale Gardens with Author Joel Karsten

May 5 – Container Gardening with Traci Dummer, Bloomers Garden Shop

May 12 – Gardening with Kids with Julie Sievert, Sibley Co. Extension Educator
